Pink Sunday

Now I love a bit of baking, and now that I've bought my new flat I'm desperately looking to update everything I own! It's pretty hard to stop myself from buying everything in pink (like REALLY hard) but I'm not going to lie, this mixing bowl from John Lewis is adorable!

Get one here.

If you follow me on twitter, you may have heard that I've dyed my hair pink again... Only it's not the lovely pastel pink it's meant to be but more of a neon, highlighter pink. Hopefully by next week it'll be a nicer shade of pink and I'll share it on here... maybe.

Novelty Miffy Lamps!!

How adorable are these lamps!? Miffy lamps.

Genius.

They are from Artbox, but sadly they are £120 and out of my price range... maybe I could sell an organ?

Textile-tastic

In amongst all the talk of January blues, I've been busying myself with a little project for a very talented friend of mine. DanYELL is a Glasgow based surface pattern designer (get yourself to her shop here) and I was lucky enough to take some promotional photographs for her. Here's a sneak peak of her getting our lovely model Louise (who was also the make up artist that day) ready:

And the finished shot:

There are more to come but this is my favourite by far!

Catch DanYELL at Gin in teacups (vintage/fashion/craft market) this Sunday at Chambre 69 (tunnel between urban outfitters and subway), Glasgow and maybe go wild and buy a scarf or card.

Pink Sunday

So this Pink Sunday is about all the beautiful pink skies and clouds we've been getting in Scotland recently because let's face it, a few pink clouds cheer most people up in January. So here goes...

The view from my living room one evening:

At work one morning:

And finally some pretty pink clouds on my way to London the other week:

Enjoy your Sunday!

I Have Returned!

Happy New Year! I had a pretty manic December, but now it is 2012 and things seem to have returned to normal! So I am well and truly back in the land of blogging. As I've been so busy I thought I'd tell you all what I've been up to, my December looked a lot like this:

I have bought a flat, moved in and all ready made a start on a picture wall

I put up my Christmas tree before unpacking any boxes

I acquired yet more moustaches

And then before I knew it, I was home for Christmas where I ate far too much turkey, wore a tiny elf hat and pulled faces

That pretty much sums up the last few weeks of 2011, now bring on 2012!
