Tattoo help, again

Last year I decided to man up and get my first tattoo (see it here if you fancy) and now I have the undeniable urge to get another, and another...But now the problem is, I want everything! So I'm currently torn between:

and something more bunny related, because I'm obviously quite bunny-obsessed right now, like this:

Both images are from Pinterest

Help me?!

Llama Love

We all know I love pink, some of you may know I love a llama (I especially love it when the two are joined like this). Yesterday Sarah reduced to me squeals, how? By delivering this to my desk at work:

I want to use my new Envelope Clutch bag with llamas on, you heard me, LLAMAS, from ASOS, all the time! What's not to love, massive clutch, yellow leather, pink llamas, it was always going to be a winner for me.

Pink Sunday

This weekend has made me feel like a complete grown up and I'm not sure I liked it! I spent Saturday listening to the rugby and painting my hallway, then today, continuing to paint, running out of paint, searching Dennistoun for more paint and failing... Rubbish. Luckily, I found this to remind me I'm still as silly as ever:

The Fabulous Hot Pink Llama Cookie Jar is amazing, what's not to love? Pink, llama, cookies, it has everything!

Bows, cider and polka dots

This weekend was a lovely quiet one spent buying over sized bows from Primark:

I mean really? It's bigger than my face - I am yet to wear it outside...

Drinking cider from really heavy glasses!

And painting my nails with polka dots! Gem Fatale has a really good, fool-proof tutorial (see it here) which is the only way that I can get good spots, see my previous attempt here, this time I went for a more grown up black nail and silver spot:

Bunnies, Bunnies Everywhere

I seem to be seeing bunny things EVERYWHERE! Yes, I'm probably subconsciously looking for cute bunny things now that I have Cupcake (see how cute she is here). But Urban Outfitters seem to have gone bunny mad like me. How am I meant to resist salt and pepper shakers like this:

And a bunny lamp:

And a white rabbit bed sheet!! This is my absolute favourite thing I've seen in a long time but I'm meant to be saving, I'm meant to be saving.... Who needs savings anyway?

Sparkly Sugar Cookies

So last week I was, even if I say so myself, one of the best people to work with. Why you may ask? Because I baked sugar cookies the looked like this:

Here's what you need:
  • 150g butter
  • 75g caster sugar
  • 225g plain flour
  • 3 tubes of Smarties

Preheat your oven to 170C (gas mark 4) and then mix together the flour and sugar in a large bowl, once that's all nice and even, add the butter (I just use a dairy free version and it works just fine) and Smarties, get your hands in the bowl and rub the butter in until it's all smooth and looks like dough. I've found that wrapping the dough in clingfilm and putting it in the fridge for 15 minutes helps keep it together when you roll it out.

So after leaving the dough in the fridge, you need to roll the dough out on a floured surface until it's around 1cm thick and get cutting! They then just need to be baked in an oven for around 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Then this is where it all gets a bit camp, I bought edible glitter a few weeks ago and I just covered the cookies in this wonderful stuff:

Pink and silver sugar cookies, perfection.

Tea Parties, Moustaches and Taxidermy?

Tea Parties, Moustaches and Taxidermy? I'm there! Saturday saw Kelvingrove Museum hold A Very Grand Day Out, which was essentially some Victorian activities dotted around the museum. I did discover a few things though, there is a bust of the lady herself, Queen Vic that is:

I would have made a good Victorian lady - look at all that padding she's using to make her bum look bigger!

I enjoy a good bit of taxidermy (I wonder if Cupcake would like a bow tie) even if it's lots of animal bits made into a weird, mutant animal.

 And I suit a moustache...

The rest of my weekend was all a little less weird, mostly due to the cold I appear to be harbouring in my face... I discovered that my rabbit has a taste for my slipper and I baked this Cinnamon Sugar pull apart bread by Joy the Baker and it was delightful!!
